The National Apprenticeship Service bring considerable value to organisations, employers, individuals and the economy. The Technology Strategy Board launched the Low Impact Buildings Innovation Platform in May 2008. We will commit funding for new projects initially until about 2012, with activity on those projects continuing beyond that. We invest jointly with industry and other funders in projects to bring innovative solutions to this growing market, and to overcome barriers to the wider use of existing solutions.

We are the Sector Skills Council and Industry Training Board for the construction industry, working with industry, for industry to deliver a safe, professional and fully qualified UK construction workforce.

YORbuild is a series of collaborative Construction Frameworks for the procurement of new build, refurbishment and design build construction works for the Yorkshire and Humber region’s 22 Local Authorities and other regionally based Public Sector Bodies, including Third Sector Organisations.

A joint initiative between the Energy Saving Trust, the BRE Trust and a number of industry partners to enable the practical delivery of green refurbishment through a national demonstration network.
